What’s the difference between Opt-Out and Total-Opt-Out?

If a recipient opts out, it means they no longer want to receive from a certain Publication, like a newsletter, for example, but that they still want to receive other information you send out. You must provide an opportunity to unsubscribe in all your emails.

If a recipient makes a total opt-out, it means they have unsubscribed from all emails you send, regardless of content and purpose.

The system handles opt-outs automatically.
