How do I convert a Lime Go XML-file to Excel?

If needed, you can be provided with a file containing all your data ever entered into Lime Go. You can read more about this export here. To keep the hierarchy of the data intact the file is XML formatted. However, it is not uncommon to want to view this file in Microsoft Excel.

1. Download the export/XML-file to a local folder.

2. First time you open this file, Excel could show this messages.

3. To simply just open the XML-file and get the data, continue by selecting…

4. Finally, the file should be opened in Excel like the image below. A tip is to now save the Excel file separately from the original file for easier handling.
