Installation on a Terminal server/Citrix
1. When you’re installing, you have to be logged in as a Windows administrator.
2. Download the Lime Easy installation file from our website and place the file on the desktop.
3. Go to the Control Panel and choose “Install a program on Terminal server/Citrix”.
4. A window will open, in which you can choose the installation file that you would like to run. Choose the file LimeEasySetup.msi, that you placed on the desktop.
5. The rest of the installation is proceeded as usual. Go through the installation guide.
Advanced installation
- When the installation is finished, start the Lime Easy Database Manager and set the correct paths to the database and the templates-, documents- and mail merge folders.
2. Now you can start up Lime Easy and make settings for what Lime Easy should look like graphically. For example, you can choose what fields you would like to show in the different lists.
3. Go to the Help-menu -> System information. Double click on Windows Directory.
4. Open the file “kontakt8.ini”. This file includes all the settings that you’ve just made. Mark and copy all text.
5. Go back to the system information and double click on “System Windows directory” (this option only exists if you run Lime Easy on a Terminal server). The path should be c:\windows.
6. Open the file “kontakt8.ini” here (in C:\Windows). Replace the existing info and paste the text you just copied. Click on Achive>Save.
7. Now all the Terminal server users will get the correct settings when they start Lime Easy for the first time.
Note: The users also have access to Lime Easy Database Manager, which means they can set the correct path to the database themselves, if they want to.
