Why is no one who registers for my event getting a confirmation email?

In order for the system to send confirmation emails, you have to use the Email field from Pre-filled fields (recipient properties) in your registration form.

Open Pre-filled fields (recipient properties) and drag the Email field into the form on your event registration page.
